Lately I had the pleasure to be invited to Vienna once again. The Vienna Slackliners were setting up a beautiful urban highline right in the middle of the city on a concrete tower that was built during World War II. Now the building is home to Haus des Meeres, an aquarium.
The line is amazing and strange at the same time. It is parallel to the terrace so orientation is not a problem. On the other hand the plateaus are leaning out over the building so you have full exposure from the first step to the last. Surreal! Just as a good highline has to be.
Thanks for the invitation! And thanks to Fritz Hochfelner and Sam Bucher for the nice pics.
